Charles Taylor's Lloyd's and London Delegated Claims team provide outsourced claims services to carriers operating in the Lloyd's and London Insurance markets. Covering all classes of business and complexities, our experienced adjusters in London provide bespoke services aligned to our clients' requirements to become a natural extension to their in-house capabilities.
Role Purpose
The role is to provide support for all areas of the LMCS and Static Claims projects.
Key relationships
London Market Clients, both domestic and foreign insurers/lawyers, London Market Brokers, UK Claims colleagues
Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to the following)
- LMCS (Lloyd's Market Claim Scheme)
- Processing and calculation of reserves to insurer level as determined by client work product; respond to clients with any queries.
- Assist with preparation of Attorney Attachment A's using in-house systems.
- Circulation of ad hoc reports within agreed LMCS SLAs.
- Ensure Indemnity/Defence Expense Collections are processed accurately and timely; respond to clients with any queries relating to allocation differences.
- Processing of Attorney fee collections.
- Training and knowledge sharing with multiple clients on bespoke systems.
- Assist Team in running of LMCS Call centre, responding to queries from all clients in an efficient and timely manner.
- Entry of policy details into LMCS systems and investigate any discrepancies.
- Prepare Settlement scenarios based on client work product to policy and insurer level; liaise with market Leaders to ensure allocation needs are met.
Static Claims
- Manage the processing of static claims onto internal systems.
- Review market systems to accordance with static claim client requirements, identifying any anomalies and referring to broker or client as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with brokers and clients.
- Distribution of broker reports in line in line with internal and client SLA's
- Maintaining broker comments and contacts ensuring transparency with brokers and clients
- Dealing with brokers and clients in a professional manner over the phone or via email, acting as a contact to resolve any issues that may prevent the processing of static claims to agreed SLAs.
- Monitor performance of brokers.
Required Skills and experience
- Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products.
- Excellent mathematic, literacy and interpersonal skills in order to maintain and build on existing client relationships.
- Ability to quickly learn, use and also teach others all LMCS systems.
- Attention to detail necessary.
- Ability to interpret client queries quickly and efficiently and respond appropriately in a professional manner.
- Problem solving.
- Flexibility to be able to work in small team but also individually with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude.
