Certification
• Microsoft or Oracle certification preferred.
• ITIL Certification or experience working in an ITIL environment preferred.
Work Experience
• Extensive experience providing technical delivery of large projects working with
stakeholders from business, development and infrastructure teams.
• Experience of business critical systems, and 24/7 support.
• Experience of administering development and test database environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS required.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS 11g, 12c, 19c, Oracle RMAN preferred.
• Understanding of Relational Database Management System architecture and how it relates to the organization’s application landscape. • Experience with Nutanix Era/NDB a plus.
• Understanding of backup and restore processes required, knowledge of Pure Storage or Veeam a plus.
• Demonstration of thorough understanding of how discrete infrastructure components work together to provide reliable and secure hosting environment.
• Experience working with Cloud technologies including Azure SQL PaaS a plus.
• Understanding of RDBMS security best practices and how to implement in an enterprise environment.
