Location: This role could be based in any of our UK offices
(London Birmingham, Telford or Edinburgh) with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role
Reporting directly to the Asset Reporting Manager, the key focus of the Asset Reporting Specialist is to support production and distribution of investment asset data reports (including those containing Sustainable Investments data) and implementation of controls to ensure reports are complete and accurate.
The role will also span to work with the Reporting Development team to review new report requirements and provide data to assess the required build.
Key Responsibilities
- Production and distribution of investment asset data reports (including those containing Sustainable Investments data) and providing required commentary and analysis to an agreed schedule and required quality for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate controls are implemented to ensure outputs are complete and accurate
- Apply continuous improvement mindset with processes to ensure they are performed in the most efficient way
- Work with the Reporting Development team to review new report requirements received from within and outside the team and provide them with data as required to enable an assessment of required build.
- Ensure stakeholders are managed effectively in delivery of reports and kept abreast of any delays or quality issues.
- Utilise available tools such as Marketplace, Quicksight and Power BI to deliver reports in the most efficient way and to ensure the correct data is used for the intended purpose.
What are we looking for?
- Experience with asset data or sustainable investments reporting (essential)
- Demonstrated experience in financial services industry
- Proven capability for working to demanding deadlines and to identify flawed input data, assumptions and/or processing.
- Excellent presentation skills with a proven ability to provide clear and succinct descriptions of data limitations and assumptions used.
- Excellent excel and analytical skills with a proven ability to interrogate and summarise data
- Good knowledge and interest in Sustainable Investments, the broader ESG context and issues and the latest disclosure requirements.
- Holder of a relevant professional qualification
Desirable
- Functional knowledge of end to end investment management technology / operating models, and downstream consumers / value chain.
- User of reporting tools such as Power BI
- Strong and demonstrable understanding of all asset classes, valuations, calculation methodologies
