Non-Advised Sales Consultant - 12-month FTC:
- Initially, you’ll be working in the Glasgow office full time, transferring to 80% homeworking and 20% in office once training has been completed.
- Excellent opportunity to embark on a rewarding career with excellent earning potential, whilst supporting the growth of our Financial Services portfolio
- 35 hours per week, working 2 days 11 am - 7 pm, and 3 days 9 am - 5 pm
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for two Non-Advised Sales Consultants to join the team within Financial Services Sales for 12 months. The opportunities have arisen as a result of some internal movement within the team; a secondment and a maternity leave.
As a Non-Advised Sales Consultant, you will be supporting your customers with the full end-to-end process, adhering to quality standards whilst meeting activity and performance targets. Once you have been introduced to the customer through our lead generators or agency network, you will support the customer by understanding their circumstances, providing them with information about the Financial Services products available to them, and completing the necessary administrative duties along the way.
This is a unique opportunity to start your career within Financial Services, benefiting from a thorough training program to ensure that you are fully up-to-speed and knowledgeable about our processes and products before supporting customers. To be the best you can be in this role, we provide a comprehensive training programme that includes a mixture of classroom and hands-on experience. Once your training is complete, we will provide a supportive learning environment so that you can confidently start your career with NFU Mutual.
We’re a team that puts our customers at the heart of everything we do. It’s what we’ve built our reputation on, and as a Non-Advised Sales Consultant, you’ll ensure we continue to deliver this outstanding service, bringing your personality to the role and establishing relationships with our customers. We’re all about warm personalities, quality conversations and a customer-first attitude.
To support the growth of our Financial Services portfolio, you’ll implement initiatives for the generation of leads. You’ll develop and maintain effective relationships with our Financial Services team as well as the NFU Mutual Agency Network to drive the volume and improve the quality of leads generated, in turn developing the non-advised channel.
This role is based in our Glasgow office. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is to you, so we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work some of your hours from home. To help you give your best in the office and at home, we’re also open to discussing what part-time hours might look like for you.
This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”. Further information can be found in the FCA Handbook.
About you:
You're a highly motivated individual with a positive, can-do attitude, using your customer service or sales experience to consistently achieve targets. Committed to learning and development and ready for the challenge of being part of a new team, you’ll thrive in this fast-paced working environment. We’d love to hear from you regardless of whether you have prior Financial Services experience or not, but what is most important to us is that you possess the following skills:
- Experience working in a telephone-based sales or customer service role
- Previous experience working within financial services would be desirable, but not essential.
- Experience of working towards targets would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to use the full Microsoft suite, and learn how to navigate our internal systems
- The ability to work collaboratively and manage stakeholders effectively
