The Litigation Coordinator is responsible for general administrative and accounting functions within the Legal department.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct thorough reviews of litigation/claims documents to identify policy and claims details accurately.
- Process litigation/claims documents in a client portal, including tasks like opening, categorizing, archiving, and distributing materials to clients.
- Establish effective communication with external parties regarding litigation/claims documents, including email drafting and phone calls.
- Prioritize precision in data entry and document processing, with a focus on accuracy.
- Execute specialized processing tasks as required by the role.
- Assist in managing incoming calls requiring additional by gathering information from caller and directing callers to the appropriate resource.
- Maintain a foundational understanding of SNC's products and markets.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Offer administrative support to management as required.
- Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as needed or requested.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Adaptability to handle a mix of responsibilities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle numerous tasks at once.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong customer service acumen.
- Solid organizational abilities.
- Keen attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Some college education is preferred.
- Prior experience in an insurance company or agency is advantageous.
