The role
This role supports the International Property division by handling credit control activities, helping the team meet performance targets and business needs. Your responsibilities will involve following up on payments, balancing accounts, and collaborating with internal and external partners to address inquiries.
You’ll also support projects, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll be doing
Chasing outstanding premium payments and following up with clients and brokers.
Balancing receipts and identifying unallocated cash items.
Responding to queries from markets and third parties.
Assisting with account reconciliations to clients and markets.
Processing data accurately and on time in internal systems.
Supporting projects and contributing to team goals.
Providing updates and reports to management.
Following the established guidelines and regulatory compliance.
Attending team meetings and reporting on progress.
Building working relationships with internal teams.
Who we’re looking for
Experience in credit control or a similar finance role.
Knowledge of insurance principles and relevant regulations.
Able to handle tasks independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and internal systems.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work under pressure and adapt to change.
Works well with others and supports team goals.
Able to analyse information and make decisions.
Willing to learn and improve.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but experience in insurance or finance is helpful.
Knowledge of insurance broking platforms is useful but not crucial.
