Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our Atlanta office with the Claims team as a Summer Intern. This 12-week paid internship offers a deep dive into the world of commercial insurance.
You Will
- Learn how to evaluate, review, and analyze claim and policy data across all lines of business to discover trends, enabling you to achieve project goals.
- Gain exposure to the claims lifecycle while learning claim operation and segmentation processes including assisting with work volumes in areas that could include claim submission intake and research, loss run testing and evaluation, claim financials, and healthcare credentialing.
- Participate in real-world projects that impact our customers and business – including reviewing claim data against policy deductible requirements, reviewing and reconciling financial records, and finding opportunities to improve processing of financial information.
- Collaborate with experienced claims professionals across all claims functions including operations, segmentation, and the technical claims team.
You will be part of a dynamic and supportive claims team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Your work will directly contribute to delivering on our commitment to excellence – Claims Is Our Product.

Qualifications
- Interest in Insurance, claims handling, contracts or pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Law)
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong mathematical and basic bookkeeping skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in team environment
- Adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to learn

The base salary range for this position in Atlanta is from $22/hour - $26/hour; a candidate’s salary is determined by their relevant skills and experience. We value our teammates – both their capabilities and character – as demonstrated by our amazing culture.
