JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Manager, Claims to join our team to support our newly acquired company, Storfield Insurance Consultants Limited which provides insurance services to both personal and business clients.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of claims management, a proactive approach, and keen attention to detail. This role reports directly to the Director and will supervise an Executive.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high quality claims advice, management, and guidance to clients, ensuring comprehensive support across all categories of General Insurance. This includes evaluating claims scenarios, offering recommendations, and facilitating optimal outcomes for clients.
- Extend professional advice and support to colleagues on technical and claims servicing issues, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances overall service delivery and technical proficiency within the team.
- Administer and process claims with attention to detail, coordinating effectively with insurers and clients to ensure that claims are managed efficiently and resolved in a timely and compliant manner.
- Compile and prepare detailed claims reports and statistical analyses, providing insightful data that supports management decision-making and continuous improvement in claims handling processes.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Holder of a diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional insurance-related qualifications (e.g., IIQE, ANZIIF/ACII) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general insurance claims.
- Good command of written and spoken Cantonese and English; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (including Excel and PowerPoint).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-presented, highly self-motivated, and able to work independently.
