Position Summary
The Distribution Analyst is responsible for monitoring, identifying, and presenting potential solutions as it relates to all Insurance Distribution performance issues. The Distribution Analyst will develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers and all leadership. The Distribution Analyst will always represent the company in a positive and supportive manner whether it be present in our Chicago or working remotely. This position requires a wide range of operational knowledge, understanding, and process flows, as well as the ability to manage projects as assigned by the Department Lead.
What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze data and information to identify business opportunities.
• Work closely with local and executive leadership team to achieve outcomes based on company goals.
• Provide data solutions related to business strategies to support the Distribution and Insurance Distribution Team.
• Use a variety of statistical methodologies to solve quantitative business issues to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Gather and create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly productivity reports for leadership and identify positive and negative trends.
• Work with leadership team on multiple key initiatives.
• Design, code, and develop operational dashboards and tools. Define, analyze, and report on analytics and financials for a variety of projects and ad-hoc requests.
• Assist as needed with compiling and analyzing broker/partner performance information.
• Create and update collateral for broker meetings.
• Other duties and projects needed as assigned by management.
Work Experience and Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• A minimum of 6 months of related experience or in similar role.
• Strong background in data analysis with the ability to interpret data into a meaningful and understandable form.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications, specifically Word, Excel and Power Query, and other data analysis tools.
• Ability to implement, integrate, and extract data from Ryan Specialty ERP as well as third-party service providers across the organization and external network.
• Experience working as a data analyst a plus.
• Experience in developing KPI’s and dashboard’s a plus.
• Experience working in Insurance Industry or Brokerage Firm a plus.

The target salary range for this position is $76,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
