Join us as a Rescue Pricing practitioner in our Rescue Pricing & Underwriting Team. Green Flag have a legacy of being a strong brand in the Rescue market – we’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated pricer to join our exciting team as we look to grow our brands and offerings.
What You'll Be Doing
Reporting into the Portfolio Optimisation lead, key responsibilities will include:
- Develop price trading capability, supporting trading initiatives, identify price trading opportunities and oversee performance.
- Interrogate data & review risk performance, highlighting threats & opportunities.
- Supporting on trading activity, including proposals, testing & PIRs, and build optimisation strategies, enabling delivery of positive trading outcomes.
- Interrogation of trading MI reporting & conduct processes to support positive customer and pricing outcomes
- Supporting on modelling outcomes, and model performance/implementation.
- Analyse & propose pricing changes, overseeing the process through to deployment.
- Liaising with our trading teams to deliver great customer and commercial outcomes
- Working closely with the pricing & underwriting team to deliver great pricing & underwriting outcomes.
- Adherence to relevant pricing controls.
Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach. When you'll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office
This role is available in our London, Bristol, Leeds or Glasgow offices.
What You'll Need
- Experience of pricing a personal lines insurance product, in a price trading or modelling capability
- Understanding of modelling processes and concepts, and the link with risk/retail pricing.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Python or Sagemaker desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to innovate & work in a fast paced environment, working with a breadth of initiatives
- Experience working to budgets & developing business cases for capability enhancement.
