Description
Our Distribution team are responsible for the trading relationship between CFC and our network of retail and wholesale brokers across our entire product range. As part of our continued growth we’re looking for a member of staff to join the team to help manage and maintain our growing broker database and relationships.
You’ll help to deliver brilliant support to our brokers at every stage of their journey with CFC, as well as working with multiple teams across the whole CFC business to help fulfil our ambitious growth plans. You will play an important role taking ownership of all day-to-day administration for the Distribution function, managing key processes and activities, including new agency administration and onboarding, inbox management, due diligence checks, strategic partnership support, distribution meetings and MI / reporting.
About the role
As well as strong administrative support you will also be the first point of contact for new and existing brokers on a wide range of issues, requiring excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills. You’ll help support how we work with all types of brokers, from the smallest offices to our largest global strategic relationships. You’ll also be a key go to contact for CFC’s internal teams and senior management - in a typical week you’ll be working with underwriting, finance, claims, marketing, operations and IT to help solve problems.
- Day to day coordination and administration of the Distribution team inbox, efficiently responding to queries and triaging where necessary.
- Supporting the end to end process for onboarding new brokers, including making new agency recommendations for board approval. The agency onboarding process includes having conversations internally with underwriters to establish potential appetite & if the agency is a good fit for CFC.
- Managing the all broker agency due diligence checks, including the sanctions and credit checks and issuing our TOBAs.
- Consistently working to maintain and improve the accuracy of our broker data. Working closely with the Management Information team and underwriters to ensure they follow the correct process, whilst behind the scenes helping to cleanse our current database
- Acting as the first point of contact for our brokers on a wide range of issues, including new opportunities, commission queries and data requests, working with all relevant CFC teams to ensure we deliver brilliant service
- Assisting the wider distribution team on project work and general administrative queries
About you
We are looking for Graduates or School leavers that are keen to start their
professional career with an innovative Insurance business that loves to challenge the status quo. You'll want to develop your technical knowledge on the Insurance industry, taking your Cert CII within the first 12 months.
Customer and client service skills are critical at this role as you will be dealing with internal and external customers at every level. You will have good stakeholder management and relationship building skills to work collaboratively with various teams across the business.
You'll have excellent attention to detail have experience dealing with large volumes of data and managing it's accuracy. We are looking for someone able to work on initiative and in a fast-paced environment.
