How does this role contribute to our collective success?
This role is pivotal to AXIS Global Market’s underwriting transformation across Lloyd’s and the London Market. Initially focusing on delegated authority business, you will apply deep insurance expertise to topics such as coverholder oversight, bordereaux data, and delegated claims to design and deliver practical solutions aligned with our transformation goals. By translating business needs into actionable outcomes, you will enable technology and data teams to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen compliance, and improve market competitiveness.
What will you do in this role?
Leverage your Lloyd’s and London Market expertise to help design practical solutions for delegated authority transformation
Act as the Product Owner for relevant agile squads, managing the backlog and embedding delegated authority requirements into sprint planning and user stories.
Prioritize work based on business impact, compliance requirements, and operational needs.
Define and drive the product vision and roadmap aligned with transformation objectives and existing pain points.
Translate business objectives into clear product goals and actionable priorities for project teams.
Engage with underwriting, operations, compliance, and other stakeholders to validate requirements and gather feedback.
Inform and support the Data & Analytics transformation by identifying opportunities to leverage data for improved decision-making and operational efficiency.
Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Collaborate with technology teams to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions.
Champion adoption through training, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
Define and monitor KPIs, establish feedback loops, and continuously improve product outcomes.

About You:

What you need to have:
Minimum 5 years of Delegated Authority experience within Lloyd’s or London Market.
Strong business background in underwriting, operations, pricing, or compliance.
Practical understanding of bordereaux management, coverholder oversight, portfolio management, and delegated claims.
Familiarity with Lloyd’s systems (e.g., IMR, Atlas, DCOM) and market platforms (e.g. PPL, Whitespace).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive effective change.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
What we prefer you to have:
Prior experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment.
Solid understanding of technology and data concepts and tools common in modern enterprises.
Experience and passion for driving digital transformation and operational efficiency in the market.
