The Role:
As a Schemes Underwriter, you'll play a key part in the development of our delegated binder, Social Welfare and Care portfolio. Reporting to the Schemes Operations Manager, you’ll manage both new business and renewals, shape portfolio performance, and work closely with brokers to strengthen our position as their preferred market.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Driving performance and contributing to the team’s ambitious growth targets
Handling enquiries and negotiating profitable terms for new and renewal business
Acting as a trusted referral point for brokers and delivering excellent service standards
Supporting portfolio reviews with insight and recommendations
Building, maintaining, and deepening key trading relationships
Applying sound underwriting judgement in line with guidelines and authority levels
Serving as a dedicated point of contact for queries relating to your Scheme portfolios
What You’ll Bring:
Solid underwriting experience (typically 3+ years)
Exposure to both new business and renewals
Experience in Schemes/delegated business (advantageous but not essential)
Strong broker relationships and confident communication skills
A collaborative mindset and a passion for growing meaningful portfolios
