Health, Safety & Facilities CoordinatorPlay a central role in the smooth running and safety of our Bristol officeEnjoy a varied, people‑focused position with plenty of ownershipWork closely with our Group Health & Safety team to maintain compliance and support key auditsAbout the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Facilities Co-ordinator to join the Bristol Regional Service Centre on a permanent basis. As Health, Safety and Facilities Co-ordinator, You'll implement, review, and monitor pre-agreed building or facilities work on-site, as well as health and safety procedures and practices, to ensure accurate records, compliance, ensure adherence to NFU Mutual and regulatory requirements, and alignment with long-term environmental targets.You'll advise, guide, and inform managers and employees on workplace risks, legislation, policies, and safe working procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and NFU Mutual policy. You'll support and work closely with Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinators across the regional, national and Head Office teams to coordinate, monitor, and record H&S training in accordance with group and legislative requirements. These activities will ensure audit requirements are met, and employee awareness and knowledge are maintained.You’ll assess and evaluate, working with the Group Health and Safety team on all H&S incidents, near misses, and risks in accordance with NFU Mutual policy, procedures, and risk appetite, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe working environment as well as promoting a positive H&S culture.You'll build and maintain effective relationships with Bristol RSC staff and leadership team, Group Properties, and third parties to manage building facilities and pool car requirements, ensure alignment with regulatory and company guidelines. You'll maintain, support, and administer the development and testing of Business Continuity Plans working with Risk and Controls, designed to ensure continuity of service and employee welfare in the event of incidents. You'll also have the opportunity to deliver short-term or one-off projects and activities as required, meeting the standards and outcomes agreed with your Line Manager. This role is based in our Regional Service Centre in Bristol. We offer great facilities when you’re in the office.
