About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Territory Manager to drive growth and engagement across a portfolio of 250+ veterinary clinics and other channels. This role is pivotal in executing tactical plans, delivering exceptional customer care, and marketing our channel products and services. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder, a data-driven strategist, and a passionate advocate for business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Strategy
- Grow and maintain a high-performing territory of engaged veterinary clinics and other channels.
- Monitor and report on competitive activity, with a focus on outpacing Trupanion .
- Identify and present regional growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with fellow Market Leads to implement national initiatives.
Financial & Business Planning
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Leverage Salesforce and internal systems to track performance and drive lead conversion.
- Ensure efficient financial and business management for sustained profitability.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with veterinary partners to enhance retention and renewals.
- Educate clinics to support trial growth and consistent sales performance.
- Lead the deployment of regional voucher program & QR Code strategies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to regional colleagues.
Development
- Participate in cross-functional teams with a focus on engagement, collaboration, and high performance.
- Identify and address capability gaps to ensure delivery excellence.
- Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development focus
- Minimum 7 years of Sales experience (outside sales is an asset)
- Agile experience is an asset.
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to provide direction on sales effectiveness best practices.
- Experience leading teams through sustained organizational and transformational change.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working 4 days per week in field with 1 territory planning day working from home or office (typically Friday’s)
Salary Range: $59,300 - $109,200
