Position Summary
The Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting, will be a core member of our Controllership team and will be primarily focused on the SEC reporting process, equity-based compensation, and the accounting research associated with these matters. The position requires a high level of collaboration, working cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, FP&A, Investor Relations, and external partners to ensure sound compliance and reporting. This position reports to the Manager of SEC Reporting and will work closely with the Controllership Accounting and Reporting team.
What will your job entail?
Essential Functions:
Assist in the coordination and preparation of quarterly reports (10-Q), annual reports (10-K),
current reports (8-K), and other SEC filings as needed
Review supporting documentation and prepare the tie-out of the financial statements and footnotes
Complete the accounting and related financial reporting for various equity-related transactions, including preparing journal entries, rollforwards, and footnote support for equity-based compensation and dividends
Research accounting guidance, including new accounting standards, related to financial reporting, analyze impacts on our disclosures, and develop recommendations for required changes
Prepare GAAP disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with accounting and SEC guidelines
and completeness of financial statements
Aid in the preparation of the quarterly earnings per share calculation
Assist in maintaining proper documentation of SEC reporting policies, procedures, and controls
Identify and implement process improvements to the reporting cycle
Support external auditors’ work on annual audits and quarterly reviews
Assist with special projects and transactions as assigned
Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA required
3-5 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience at a public company
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize, multitask, and think critically in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate
effectively with all levels of employees, as well as external partners (auditors, consultants, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure and reporting requirements
Experience with reporting compliance software (Workiva, ActiveDisclosure, etc.) is a plus
Experience with XBRL tagging is a plus

The target salary range for this position is $92,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
