Job Description
The Specialist – HRSystems role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing HR systems and integrations with third party HR and enterprise systems. This role combines technical experience with deep HR process knowledge to ensure data accuracy, efficient workflows, and seamless end to end system performance.
The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can translate HR business needs into system requirements, deliver scalable solutions, and act as a trusted advisor to Human Resources and Technology Solutions.
What To Expect
Oracle HCM Support & Functional Configuration – 60%
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Oracle HCM modules.
- Maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle module setups, workflows, security roles, and user access in collaboration with the Functional Lead, HR Systems.
- Support the system testing cycle (unit, regression, UAT) and participate in the release management for HR for quarterly Oracle updates.
- May need to build complex reports and dashboards using OTBI and Oracle HCM as required or to back up the Reporting & Data Analyst.
Integrations Support – 20%
- Monitor integrations between Oracle HCM and third party systems (e.g., Dayforce, benefits providers, Docebo, IIQ, Achievers, etc).
- Work in partnership with Technology Solutions to support the development of new integrations or revisions to current integrations.
- Actively participate in technical incident resolution and root cause analysis for integration or data issues.
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Support – 20%
- Partner with HR teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Participate in discovery sessions and recommend system or process improvements.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to HR system users.
- Support change management efforts for new features, integrations, or system enhancements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud in a functional role. Oracle module certifications are an asset.
- Proficient in unit, functional and user acceptance testing, script writing and scenario identification.
- Proficiency in SQL, Groovy Script and other Oracle programming and reporting languages is an asset.
- Experience working with complex HR system integrations and working with external vendors.
- Experience with integration technologies (APIs, middleware platforms, SFTP automation).
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Service Now, JIRA and Confluence applications
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and experience creating technical documentation.
- Demonstrated strong communication and stakeholder management experience
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and data governance best practices.
Salary Range: $73,500-$123,500
