Primary Objectives:
As a Chief of Staff, you will report to the CEO and contribute to the development of HSB Canada’s business strategies and ensure these strategies are effectively implemented and the results are monitored. You will facilitate a strong environment of accountability for all goals and initiatives while reporting and tracking the progress of tasks. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You are a proactive and self- directed professional who finds and accomplishes activities that add value to the executive teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive governance of the office of the CEO that enhances the success and performance of division leadership.
- Drive initiatives and partner with leaders both within the HSB / GSI Group and to identify and start new opportunities for growth
- Ensure efficient and effective coordination of resources across the functional initiatives to enable targeted business outcomes
- Identify potential risks and gaps and provide insight and actionable recommendations to the CEO and Executive Committee team
- Ensure the integration and orchestration of enterprise practices that will enable leadership to focus on the highest strategic priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business discipline; Master’s degree is an asset
- 7+ years of experience in influencing and collaborating with senior and executive level staff, in leadership capacity
- 3+ years managing or leading projects and change management experience
- Experience in navigating and executing in a complex organization, preferably in a technology, software as a service or engineering or start-up organization
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others, achieve buy-in and deliver results
- Builds solid relationships quickly with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated sensitivity to, and ability to prioritize constituents’ needs
- Lives and demonstrates our corporate mission vision and values
- Ability to be impartial and demonstrates sound, collaborative, and analytical decision making
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and proactively raise issues for discussion at the SLT level

Our base salary range for this role is between $145170 and $169365 per year , plus an opportunity for an annual company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to internal equity.
