Position Summary
RT Connector, a division of Ryan Specialty, is seeking a Product Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL. We are a dynamic, fast-growing organization that offers an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to advance their careers in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
The Product Manager will own the execution and evolution of RT Connector’s retail agent platform, ensuring it delivers a seamless, intuitive experience enabling retail agents to efficiently do business with RT Specialty. This role plays a critical part in defining product strategy, driving platform adoption, and aligning solutions with agent and business needs.
What will your job entail?
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution and continuous improvement of the RT Connector retail agent platform
- Monitor platform performance, usage, and feedback to inform data-driven decisions
- Develop a deep understanding of retail agent workflows, needs, and pain points through direct engagement and feedback
- Drive agent adoption and retention through thoughtful product design, usability enhancements, and value-driven features
- Influence platform vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy in partnership with business and technology leaders
- Coordination with sales, marketing and other stakeholders for successful launch of product features and adoption.
- Design and optimize end-to-end workflows that improve efficiency and client satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with technology teams to translate business requirements into clear product requirements and priorities
- Provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Analyze agent feedback, internal teams requests, and competitive offerings to inform product decisions.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative culture across cross-functional teams including Product Owners, User Experience Designers, Insurance Product Managers, Connector Customer Support and Ryan / RT specialists to deliver intuitive, efficient solutions to solve retail agent’s needs.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and delivering workflows and functionality to enhance customer success.
- Develop training materials for internal teams, agents, and customers to support product adoption and understanding.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working at a Retail Agency as a Broker or working closely supporting Brokers at a Retail Agency, or other relatable insurance experience.
- 6+ years of experience in Insurance Product Management
- Strong ability to translate customer needs into product strategy and actionable requirements
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in product management, digital platforms, or customer-facing technology solutions
Preferred Skills & Education:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Product Management or Business Administration, preferred.
- Insurance, specialty insurance, or B2B platform experience highly preferred
- Licenses and Certifications: Certified Professional in Product Management (CPM), or Certified New Product Development Professional (NPDP).
- Experience working with agile, or iterative product development methodologies

The target salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
