About The Role
We are looking for a qualified or nearly-qualified Tax Accountant with corporate tax experience to provide a professional tax service to all MS&AD Group companies in Europe.
The role will sit within the UK based centralised tax team comprising seven full time tax professionals.

What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing
While there is rarely a ‘typical’ day as a Tax Accountant, here’s a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:
- Completing quarterly and annual tax reporting
- Working with Tax colleagues in Tokyo and other regions to complete Head office and international tax filing requirements e.g. CbCR, CFC reporting and Pillar II
- Preparing UK corporation tax returns and working with advisors to manage the submission of non-UK returns
- Liaising with Finance colleagues in the UK and beyond to assist them in all of their corporate tax needs
- Assisting the Group Tax Manager with ad hoc pieces of tax advisory work

What We Need From You
For this particular role there are some important qualifications and experience we need you to have. These include:
- Ideally previous Lloyd’s/Insurance/Financial Service tax experience
- To be 0 – 3 years PQE CTA and/or ACA qualified (or suitable number of years experience)
- Good tax accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to take ownership of issues
