Job Description
We are currently seeking an
Adjuster Support professional to join our team in Canada. This position offers flexibility in location and work arrangement, including in-office, hybrid, or fully remote options.
The Adjuster Support role is responsible for providing administrative and clerical assistance to the claims team, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and accurately. The successful candidate will manage a variety of support functions while maintaining strong attention to detail, organization, and effective time management skills.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Typing, transcribing, word processing and spreadsheet updates
- Office liaison for customers, co-workers and professionals
- Account administration
- Office Administration
- General clerical duties
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2 years experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment
- Knowledge of the insurance industry will be considered an asset
- Proven organizational skills
- Professional telephone manners
- Good communication skills and correct use of terminology
- Excellent transcribing skills with a typing rate of 50 wpm
- Advanced computer skills including Office 365 and Windows 10 programs
- Must be a flexible team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
- Reliable transportation required
- Valid driver's license is required
- Regular travel to loss sites is required
