We are looking for a talented Pricing Analyst to join our Home Technical Pricing team and support the delivery of our pricing strategy. In this role, you will be aligned to our Personal Lines Risk Pricing team, contributing to the development, enhancement and maintenance of General Insurance pricing models, helping ensure they remain accurate, predictive and aligned to business objectives. You'll undertake a broad range of pricing analysis, performance monitoring and model validation activities, for our home insurance products, using data and insight to support informed pricing decisions. Working closely with colleagues across Pricing and Underwriting, you'll help refine rating structures, improve analytical processes and contribute to the development of pricing solutions that deliver fair outcomes for customers. You'll have opportunities to work with a variety of tools, techniques and data sources, developing your technical expertise while supporting business improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, working with data and continuously improving how pricing is delivered. The role will be based out of our Stratford-upon-Avon offices, where you will need to spend 20% of your time, with up to 80% home-working on offer.About youYou're an analytically minded pricing professional who enjoys using data and insight to solve problems and improve business performance. You're naturally curious, enjoy exploring new ideas and can communicate complex information in a clear and effective way. You build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and take ownership of delivering high-quality work. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you're proactive, resilient and motivated to develop your technical expertise.Experience within General Insurance pricing and modelling would be highly beneficial, although we'd also welcome applicants with relevant pricing, analytics or data science experience from other financial services environments. To be considered, you need to demonstrate: Experience working within a Pricing or Data Science Knowledge of pricing analysis, modelling techniques and statistical analysis Experience checking, monitoring and analysing complex data Experience of at least one of the following coding or analytical tools: R, Emblem or Python Experience using SQL or Radar (desirable) Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly Strong relationship-building capability A curious, inquisitive and proactive approach to continuous improvement Ownership and accountability for delivering quality outcomes At NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique.
