Summary
Sitting within the FP&A team in the Finance function reporting to the Senior Business Partner you will have primary responsibility for production of expense reports, commentary and plans.
Responsibilities
Production of quarterly expense report including analysis of actuals vs prior period and actuals vs plan
Production of exhibits and commentary to go into other reports including management P&L discussion pack, various committees and Board reports
Running quarterly meetings with heads of function to talk through expenses for their function and resolution of meeting action points.
Produce the annual expense plan and quarterly reforecasts in collaboration with the Senior Business partner
Ownership of the plan/ forecast headcount & cost model
Perform additional compensation analysis for expense allocations
Support Senior Business Partner on cost containment initiatives
Advance clarity and transparency of expense process for management
Other ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Four years of experience as a business partner or expense accountant desired.
Insurance knowledge preferred.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information.
