Role overview
DUAL North America is seeking the AVP of IT Process Transformation – This role requires a visionary leader who can drive continuous process improvements, integrate advanced technologies, and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth powered by technology solutions. The AVP will manage a team of business process analysts, collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams, and guide the execution of complex IT projects that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
Role responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business process analysts focused on IT-driven projects, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals.
- Define and implement the strategy for integrating business process analysis with IT projects to streamline operations and drive digital transformation.
- Partner with senior leadership, including IT, business, and operations teams, to define IT project requirements that support business process improvement.
Business Process Improvement through IT Solutions:
- Oversee the identification, mapping, analysis, and re-engineering of business processes using IT solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive the implementation of enterprise-wide IT projects that leverage technology to improve business processes, such as ERP systems, automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify opportunities for process optimization using emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, cloud solutions, etc.).
Project Management and Execution:
- Lead and manage IT-related business process improvement projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with IT project managers to ensure that business requirements are integrated into the design, development, and delivery of IT solutions.
- Ensure that business process changes resulting from IT projects are successfully adopted across the organization, and that they integrate smoothly into existing workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to identify pain points, define requirements, and deliver IT solutions that streamline business operations.
- Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring that process improvement needs are effectively communicated and addressed within IT projects.
- Present progress reports, process improvement plans, and IT project outcomes to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with business priorities.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to track the success of IT-driven process improvements and inform decision-making.
- Establish KPIs and process performance metrics to evaluate the impact of IT solutions on business operations, ensuring that IT projects are delivering measurable value.
- Implement reporting tools and dashboards to monitor and manage the effectiveness of IT-enabled business process improvements.
Change Management and Training:
- Lead change management efforts to support the successful implementation and adoption of new IT-driven business processes across the organization.
- Develop and oversee training programs for employees to ensure they are equipped to work with new or enhanced IT systems and processes.
- Assist in demand and capacity planning for IT resources, ensuring alignment between project demands and available capacity.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT service management and business analysis, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of developing and implementing IT service strategies in a complex environment.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in strategic management, project management, and SAFe 6, with a proven track record in senior roles.
- Proven experience in managing Business Analysts, leading process re-engineering efforts, and driving organizational change management. Blackbelt in Lean Six Sigma.
- Demonstrated expertise in demand and capacity planning, with a solid understanding of resource allocation and optimization.
- Experience in enabling product roadmaps and working with product management teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, strategy, and governance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and achieving business objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
