The Role
As a Reward Consultant / Analyst supporting Ardonagh Specialty and reporting into the Senior Reward Manager you will support the compensation strategy and implementation.
This will mean involvement in key strategic initiatives, compensation reports and analytics, assistance with year-end process and supporting both HR and key business stakeholders alike.
Key Role Accountabilities
Stakeholder management is key; this role is expected to partner with HR, Finance and the business to deliver commercial solutions to a host of reward/compensation related topics, including but not limited to; benefits, pensions, new hires, budgeting, reporting, benchmarking etc
Support Senior Reward Manager in all aspects of day to day Reward initiatives
Reporting: a key element of this role is to help build greater architecture, reporting and insights using the various data sources held in Ardonagh Specialty. For example, this role, in conjunction with finance, will be required to support the delivery of a quarterly bonus build file
Design and build; we continually need to monitor our approach to Total Reward to ensure we are meeting the business requirements. This role will be expected to support and contribute in the design and implementation of various Reward elements and policies
Year-end process; support the delivery of the year-end process, from start (budgeting, strategy, hierarchy building) to end (support with Remco Papers, analytics and insights)
Qualifications, Experience & Person Specification
- This role would be excellent for someone looking to get exposure to the full spectrum of Total Reward activities, and have the ability to shape and implement approach to Reward going forward
- Some experience in Reward / Compensation roles is a must, with a track record of problem solving and delivering solutions
- Strong analytical mind-set
- Proficiency in MS applications, especially excel (knowledge of Pivots, IF statements, v/xlookups etc), is essential
- Willingness to work in fast paced, PE environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
