Position Summary
The VP of M&A Technology Integration is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the integration of acquired companies into the technology ecosystem at Ryan Specialty. The role requires a deep understanding of technology landscapes, business operations, and M&A processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex technology integration projects and delivering value to the organization.
This individual will collaborate with our corporate development team, our Program Management Office and the Information Technology and Architecture teams to lead the successful integration of the systems, data and infrastructure. The leader will work pre-close and post-close to deliver on the strategic value of Ryan Specialty acquisitions. The role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of mergers and acquisitions, IT infrastructure, application development and information security.
Position Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Develop and execute technology integration strategies aligned with overall M&A goals.
Due Diligence: Conduct thorough technical due diligence assessments of target companies, identifying potential synergies, risks, and integration challenges.
Integration Planning: Develop comprehensive technology integration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership: Build and lead high-performing technology project integration teams, fostering collaboration and cross-functional partnerships.
Technology Assessment: Evaluate and assess the compatibility of technology systems, platforms, and data infrastructures of merging companies.
Data Integration: Oversee the planning and execution of data migration, consolidation, and harmonization efforts.
Change Management: Manage change effectively within the organization, communicating the impact of technology integration and providing necessary training and support.
Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize technology costs and achieve synergies through integration.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks throughout the M&A process.
Post-Merger Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure the successful operation of integrated technology systems.

The target salary range for this position is $176,000.00 - $220,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
