Job Description
The
Human Resources Business Partner will partner with several leaders in supporting the Global Technology and Digital Transformation business units to establish and implement HR strategies and tactics. You will be part of Chubb’s Global HR team and play an important role in partnering with business leaders on understanding their teams’ priorities and advising HR strategies and solutions that align with Chubb’s culture and business objectives and help to enhance employee engagement. You will engage with HR Centers of Excellence to drive HR solutions and implement HR plans to best support managers and employees within your assigned client groups.
The successful candidate will be a solution-oriented creative problem-solver who is proactive and responsive, has passion for excellence and has the unique ability to act nimbly in HR situations that require critical thinking and independence. The selected candidate will be highly credible, approachable, and experienced at providing advice and counsel to both managers and employees. The Human Resources Business Partner is expected to be a trusted advisor to management and an employee advocate and have the experience and judgment to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders at one time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice, coaching, and support to business leaders and other managers to execute on talent strategies, including acquisition, development, assessment, succession, retention, and engagement.
- Manage multiple client groups, providing HR solutions and advisement to managers and employees including performance, organizational design, leadership, and employee engagement.
- Effectively engage with employees to provide advice and guidance and be an employee advocate where appropriate.
- Act as a liaison between client groups and HR Centers of Excellence to provide HR solutions for managers and employees, including compensation, total rewards, and employee relations.
- Partner with HR colleagues in the Centers of Excellence to develop and implement, and improve programs aligned to HR as well as global function strategies.
- Drive plans to attract, retain and develop talent and effectively deploy Chubb’s human capital as a distinct competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and the Senior HR Business partner to support Global Technology and Digital Transformation.

Education And Experience
- 6+ years’ experience in an HR generalist, HR management or HR business partner role
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree
- Experience developing partnerships that allow synergy amongst business units
- Hands-on experience providing HR solutions on performance, employee relations, employee engagement, and total rewards
- Adept at providing direction specific to organizational design, talent management, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion and employee relations strategies
- Experience supporting support and corporate functions a plus
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and project management skills
