Description
We’re looking for a creative, strategic and hands-on Senior Events & Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team at Convex. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the events and contribute to the marketing strategy at a dynamic, growing organisation – and to create moments that leave a lasting impression.
As a Senior Events & Marketing Manager, you will help shape and deliver standout internal and external events designed to showcase the Convex brand and support our business objectives. From high-profile networking and hospitality events to sponsorship activation and company-wide initiatives, you’ll create meaningful experiences. Working closely with multiple lines of business, claims and internal teams, you will also lead tailored marketing campaigns, producing engaging content and collateral which builds stronger connections with clients, brokers, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the events and marketing strategy, ensuring it aligns with Convex’s business objectives and brand personality.
- Design, plan and execute events and experiences which are true to Convex values and brand personality, ensuring high-quality delivery and creating bespoke, memorable moments.
- Oversee all logistics including venue selection, agency management, AV, catering, guest communications, and on-site coordination.
- Partner with lines of business, claims and internal teams to create tailored marketing campaigns and materials.
- Oversee digital content and social media activity to amplify reach and engagement.
- Manage and coordinate a number of strategic sponsorship opportunities, ensuring maximum impact and ROI.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and internal stakeholders to support buy-in of sponsorship activities.
- Manage budgets, agencies, and suppliers, driving efficiency without compromising quality.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Sound experience in events and marketing, gained in a creative environment.
- Proven ability to deliver high-profile events and integrated campaigns.
- Creative flair, excellent communication skills and strong project management capability.
- A collaborative mindset, with confidence working closely with senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
