Role summary The Senior (PA) is responsible for delivering comprehensive and proactive administrative and organisational support to the Chief Underwriting Officer. Main duties Proactive diary management Managing Outlook inboxes and calendars Organising business travel (including hotels, cars, currency) in line with budgets, also assessing marketing needs Meeting and greeting visitors Arranging meetings and lunches and team events Working with the Marketing team to plan and deliver Corporate events as required Typing correspondence/creating reports including PowerPoint & Excel Collating meeting packs Assist with raising expense claims and checking submitted expense claims ensuring quality control Liaising with other departments (e.g. Finance, IT etc) to ensure smooth operations Ad hoc tasks as required Our requirements Relevant experience Executive level PA experience, ideally gained from within Insurance industry Understanding of insurance and underwriting terminology and processes is highly advantageous. Experience in diary management, travel arrangement, and meeting coordination. Proficient user of all Microsoft Apps. (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Personal skills Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively Flexible at all times with a requirement to attend the office regularly Self-motivated, resourceful, proactive, able to anticipate needs before they arise Works collaboratively, providing holiday/absence cover for other PA’s as required Quick thinker, able to resolve issues independently or escalate as necessary. Excellent communicator with ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels, as well as external partners. Approachable, collaborative and professional demeanour.
