Job Purpose
We are seeking a strategic and market focused professional to join our US third party team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team working with one of the largest MGA’s in the United States.
This role will require the candidate to assess business needs, manage relationships, structure contract placements, while ensuring compliance with internal standards and maintaining expert use of broking systems. The candidate will need to demonstrate excellent analytical and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of insurance markets, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to deliver tailored client solutions in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities
As part of the team, you will:
- Understand a client or prospect’s business, situations, opportunities, problems and key issues.
- Assisting with the clients analytics on their portfolio.
- Manage relationships and assist with negotiating placements.
- Identify appropriate markets and determine placing strategy.
- Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London.
- Experience in managing existing programmes and structuring new contracts.
- Ensure ongoing compliance requirements are met in a timely fashion.
- Ensure any complaints are addressed and dealt with quickly.
- A thorough understanding and an expert real time user for all relevant systems including broking Platform.
