We have an exciting opportunity to join the Pensions & Savings business as a Data Governance Manager within Strategy and Transformation

The role
You will lead and support our data governance initiatives across Pension & Savings, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal data governance policies, standards and frameworks by providing expert guidance and support services to Data Owners, Data Stewards, and key stakeholders, enabling them to manage data responsibly and effectively. You will play a pivotal role in embedding data governance best practices, driving data quality improvements, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency in data management.
You will lead and mentor a team of Data Quality and Data Governance Analysts, being responsible for championing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and frameworks across Pension & Savings. Along with supporting Data Owners and Data Stewards in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
You will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal governance protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal governance protocols along with monitoring and reporting on data governance maturity, risks, and performance metrics plus maintain documentation and records related to data governance activities such as an Information Asset Register.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or regulatory compliance roles
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM) and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams
- Experience with data governance tools and technologies such as Collibra, Informatica or Alation
- Analytical with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ideally have relevant certifications (CDMP, DGSP)
