Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-bind modelling for Property accounts.
- Prepare monthly reports to provide insight for underwriting teams and offer deeper insights into risk selection, pricing, and portfolio management.
- Over time, take ownership of an Underwriting portfolio and relationship with underwriters
- Further refine the team’s post-event loss analysis capabilities.
- Improve current data visualisation practices to enhance clarity and accessibility.
- Contribute to and lead ad hoc projects, model validation, and process design initiatives
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
- An academic background in scientific or quantitative disciplines.
- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in a technical or analytical role, preferably within the Lloyd’s market or with a model vendor.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in SQL, R/python programming is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to leverage these tools for reporting, data analysis, and communication.
- Familiarity with RMS RiskModeller/RiskLink, or equivalent risk management software is desirable.
