Job Description
We’re currently looking for a Platform Analyst to join our dynamic Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team based in London, with the flexibility of remote working. Operating globally, GTS is a collaborative and forward-thinking team, and we’re seeking a proactive team player to help enhance, monitor, and support our Alteryx Client Flow platform—alongside other key GTS technologies.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Platform Analyst in the Alteryx, Client and Flow team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our platforms run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Support & Maintenance
Partner with colleagues across Pacific Life and our regional offices to deliver compliance reporting.
Collaborate with tech teams to manage licensing, applications, and processes effectively.
Document and maintain operational processes that support our Alteryx-based Client Flow.
Configuration & Performance
Configure and tailor software to meet evolving business needs.
Monitor system health, performance, and security to ensure seamless service.
Apply best practices for data backup, recovery, and retention.
User Support & Training
Provide hands-on technical support to users, resolving issues and answering queries.
Create and deliver engaging training sessions to help users get the most out of GTS tools.
Permissions & Security
Manage user access and permissions, ensuring compliance and data protection.
Stay ahead of security trends and implement measures to safeguard sensitive data.
Workflow Automation
Design and maintain automated workflows to boost efficiency and streamline operations.
Documentation & Reporting
Keep detailed records of configurations, policies, and procedures.
Generate insightful reports on system usage and performance.
Troubleshooting & Resolution
Investigate and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
Skills & Experience
A strong desire to grow and develop as a Platform Analyst.
Solid academic foundation and a keen interest in industry best practices.
Familiarity (or curiosity) with Alteryx products like Designer and Server.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Alteryx Designer – Core, Server Implementation/Admin) and a strong academic background.
