Team Leader – Residential and Commercial Claims
What to expect in this role:
As a leader of a team of claims experts, you will play a strategic role in managing residential and commercial claims. You will be responsible for:
- Supervising, coaching, and developing your team members to maximize their performance and professional growth.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service to our policyholders, while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Overseeing individual and team performance, providing ongoing and constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to internal policies.
- Actively participating in the selection, training, and evaluation of employees, while identifying development opportunities.
- Monitoring service levels and file quality, ensuring appropriate reserves for claims.
- Contributing to continuous process improvement and acting as a change agent within the organization.
What you bring:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in claims, particularly in property insurance.
- AMF 5A license and at least 1 to 2 years of management experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant college diploma or CIP designation.
- Natural leadership, with the ability to inspire and guide others.
- Professionalism, empathy, and resilience during peak periods.
- Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written.

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
High degree of proficiency with English and French required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada.
Salary Range: $77,100 - $142,000
