Location: London - hybrid role (at least 2 to 3 days in office). All roles are advertised as open to part-time and job-share using the statement below.

About The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be embedded in one of our Capital Markets stream-aligned teams within the Retirement Solutions and Asset Management division. You’ll design and implement automated testing frameworks, validate data accuracy across systems, and embed quality practices throughout the development lifecycle. Your work will directly support trading workflows, OMS integrations, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines, APIs, and integrations.
- Build automated tests for data accuracy, transformations, and trading workflows across OMS platforms (e.g., Aladdin, Murex, Charles River).
- Validate integration points between trading systems and data platforms.
- Support regression, performance, and functional testing.
- Embed testing early in the delivery lifecycle and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Tech Leads, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to ensure quality coverage.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure audit readiness.
- Drive adoption of automated testing best practices and support defect triage and root cause analysis.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Python-based testing frameworks (e.g., Behave, PyTest).
- Demonstrable experience in asset management, wealth management or investment banking
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Hands-on testing of OMS integrations and trade lifecycle data flows.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Experience validating data accuracy across systems and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Minimum 3+ years in automation testing roles within asset management or investment banking.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable
- Familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, and cloud-based testing.
- Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Team Topologies).
- Knowledge of performance testing and multiple asset classes.
- Certifications in test automation, cloud platforms, or agile/DevOps practices.
