Location: London - hybrid role (at least 2 to 3 days in office). All roles are advertised as open to part-time and job-share using the statement below.

About The Role
As a Scrum Master, you’ll support 1–2 stream-aligned teams delivering technical change in the Capital Markets domain. You’ll foster agile ways of working, remove delivery impediments, and coach teams to deliver value predictably and sustainably. Working within our Team Topologies framework, you’ll partner with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to drive team effectiveness and alignment with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews).
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation aligned to business goals.
- Remove delivery impediments and escalate when needed.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on agile principles and practices.
- Promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor delivery metrics and support performance optimisation.
- Partner with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to balance scope, time, and value.
- Provide visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Work within Team Topologies to ensure clear team boundaries and interactions.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
- Experience as a Scrum Master or similar agile delivery role.
- Proven ability to support cross-functional teams in complex environments.
- Agile or Scrum certification (e.g. PSM I, CSM) or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable
- Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Team Topologies).
- Demonstrable experience in asset management, wealth management or investment banking
- Experience with agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Understanding of capital markets products and regulatory context.
- Exposure to modern engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud platforms).
- Additional agile or project management certifications.
