Our Customer Experience team plays a pivotal role in shaping every interaction our users have with our brand—from the first click to long-term engagement. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Scrum Master to lead agile delivery for our Design and Copy Shared Services, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives that elevate our customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- As Scrum Master, you’ll be the agile champion and delivery lead for a cross-functional team of designers, content strategists, and product owners. You’ll:
- Facilitate all agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinements.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure backlog items are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with Sonnet’s strategic goals.
- Drive sprint execution and delivery of shared service tasks across multiple customer experience initiatives.
- Identify and remove impediments, manage risks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor team velocity, capacity, and throughput to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Promote agile best practices and coach team members to embrace collaboration, accountability, and transparency.
- Engage with stakeholders across Marketing, Legal, Sales & Distribution, senior leaders to ensure alignment and visibility.
- Support agile governance and contribute to scaling agile practices across Sonnet.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager, ideally in a digital or customer experience-focused environment.
- Proven success leading agile teams in design, content, or marketing-related initiatives.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., SAFe).
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the insurance or fintech industry is an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment with minimal direction.
- Passion for delivering scalable, high-quality customer experiences.

Salary Range: $77,100 - $142,000
