An exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Monitoring Manager to join a busy, fast-paced Compliance Team to lead and shape the compliance monitoring programme across CFC Group.
The role holder will be responsible for planning, communicating, executing and reporting results in relation to a programme of key regulatory controls testing, providing assurance to senior management that controls are designed appropriately and are operating effectively.
The role holder will work closely with the broader Compliance Team as well as with members of the senior management across CFC Group.
About the role
Working closely with UK Head of Compliance, the Compliance Monitoring Manager will develop the risk-based annual Compliance Monitoring plan for approval by the board. This role will lead on the execution of the plan, including planning, reviews, conduct testing and analysing results.
As well as developing the monitoring plan, this role will provide contextual recommendations to strengthen controls, prepare clear reports for management, and summarise findings for the Head of Compliance. Additionally, this Compliance Monitoring Manager will be regularly meeting with various stakeholders in the business, keeping them updated through the process, and working closely with them to agree appropriate actions where issues are identified.
The Compliance Monitoring Manager will also instruct and advise the wider Compliance team in their work on the compliance monitoring activities.
About you
This opportunity will suit candidates who have over 8 years’ experience working a second line monitoring role at a Lloyd’s Managing Agent, Lloyd’s Cover holder or UK based company market insurer.
You have a strong knowledge of Lloyd’s, Lloyd’s Europe, and the FCA Handbook , as well as International regulatory requirements. The chosen candidate will have extensive London market experience, whether with a managing agent, broker or MGA and experience working with delegated authority.
Professional qualifications, such as ICA and/or ACII certifications are desirable but not essential.
