If you want to drive meaningful transformation while developing your own career, now is the ideal time to join us.We’re looking for an experienced Radar Pricing professional to play a key technical leadership role within one of NFU Mutual’s largest transformation programmes. Sitting within the Pricing function, this role focuses on the design, development and deployment of pricing capability, ensuring pricing solutions are effectively integrated within a wider end-to-end delivery.You’ll act as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Pricing, providing clear direction and input into requirements, solution design and delivery decisions within an Agile environment. Working closely with the Workstream Lead, Product Owner and Scrum Master, you’ll help shape delivery plans, manage dependencies and ensure pricing outcomes align with both business and regulatory requirements.As a senior representative of Pricing, you’ll build strong relationships across Underwriting, Claims, IT and other Group functions, acting as an ambassador for Pricing and ensuring pricing considerations are well understood and appropriately governed throughout delivery. This is an opportunity to influence strategic outcomes, drive technical quality and support the successful delivery of a high-profile programme.Key responsibilitiesAct as the technical lead and escalation point for pricing-related design, development and implementation activity within the programmeProvide expert input into pricing requirements, solution design and delivery planning, ensuring alignment with Pricing standards and wider organisational objectivesDesign, review and support the deployment of pricing algorithms and rating logic into live production environmentsOversee and assure code quality, testing approaches and deployment practices, promoting best practice and reducing operational riskSupport end-to-end integration with external rating engines and pricing platformsWork collaboratively within Agile squads, contributing to sprint planning, refinement, delivery and post-deployment activityBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Pricing, Underwriting, IT and delivery teams, influencing outcomes where requiredCoach, mentor and provide technical guidance to colleagues, supporting the development of pricing and technical capabilityProduce clear reporting and present updates, risks and recommendations to senior stakeholdersAct as a governance and risk ambassador, ensuring regulatory, audit and control requirements are understood and embeddedAbout youYou’re an experienced Radar Pricing professional with strong technical capability and the confidence to operate as a subject matter expert within complex delivery environments.EssentialExperience within a General Insurance pricing functionStrong hands-on experience with RadarProven experience of pricing algorithm design and deployment into live production environmentsExperience supporting or leading external rating engine integration, ideally end-to-endStrong understanding of code review, quality assurance and software testing principlesAbility to provide technical leadership, coach others and review work to drive best practiceStrong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholdersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and delivery-focused mindsetDesirableExperience with Guidewire and/or EmblemExperience working within Agile delivery environments or Agile operating modelsSQL or data interrogation experienceAwareness of pricing system risk, governance, audit and regulatory requirementsExperience driving continuous improvement in pricing or technical processesAt NFU Mutual, we support an inclusive workplace and value all the differences that make us unique.
