About The Role
We are seeking a delivery‑focused Procurement Transformation & Change Lead to work with the Chief Procurement Officer as the procurement lead and coordinator across key strategic initiatives impacting MS ABS and the wider Amlin Legal Entities.
The role will partner closely with the Chief Procurement Officer, IT transformation leads, and Legal Entity stakeholders to ensure procurement activity across multiple programmes is joined‑up, analytically sound, commercially informed, and consistently executed.
This is not a line‑management role. It is a strategic delivery and coordination role, requiring strong analytical capability, structured thinking, and the ability to translate complex change activity into clear procurement actions, decisions, and outcomes.
What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing
- Act as the single procurement coordination point across multiple strategic initiatives, ensuring sourcing, contracting, supplier, and risk activity is aligned and sequenced.
- Support the Chief Procurement Officer in structuring, prioritising, and tracking procurement change activity, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Provide analytical support and insight across strategic projects, including:
- Commercial options analysis
- Governance Reporting
- Cost, TCO, and value impact assessments
- Risk and dependency mapping
- Scenario and trade‑off analysis to support decision‑making
- Coordinate procurement inputs into IT service transition and repatriation activity, ensuring commercial, contractual, and supplier implications are understood and managed.
- Act as the procurement interface to the Source‑to‑Contract platform rollout (Ivalua), ensuring alignment between operating model, process, data, and technology.
- Support the sourcing team in the development and application of vendor strategies, helping assess scale impacts, commercial leverage, and risk as Legal Entities change their sourcing models.
- Track and report progress, risks, issues, and decisions across procurement‑related workstreams, providing clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders.
- Work with sourcing, vendor management, and TPRM teams to ensure consistent application of standards, controls, and governance across programmes.
You’re Going To Enjoy This Job If You…
- Enjoy acting as the connector between strategy, data, and delivery.
- Like working across multiple workstreams and stakeholders, bringing structure and clarity to complex situations.
- Are comfortable analysing commercial and risk information to support senior decision‑making.
- Prefer a role focused on coordination, insight, and execution, rather than day‑to‑day operational management.
- Take satisfaction from ensuring things are properly thought through, aligned, and landed well.
What We Need From You
- Experience operating in a procurement, commercial, or transformation role within a complex, multi‑entity organisation.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience producing commercial analysis, options papers, and decision support for senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of sourcing, supplier management, and third‑party risk, even if not directly leading negotiations.
- Experience coordinating procurement activity across multiple projects or programmes, with competing priorities.
- Comfortable working alongside IT, Legal, Finance, and Risk functions to align procurement inputs.
- Highly organised, structured, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to see both the big picture and the practical implications.
- Clear communicator, able to synthesise complex information into concise, executive‑ready outputs.
