Job Description
A member of the UK Operations team, reporting to the Bordereaux Manager, you will be an owner of Bordereaux post processing ensuring that processed data remains of the highest quality. You will be providing support to the Bordereaux Management team, by managing, analyzing, and reporting on bordereaux data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient workflow for underwriting, premium, and claims transactions under delegated authority agreements.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Support the resolution of data quality issues arising from the Bordereaux process – outsourced to external party
- Maintain ownership of the identification of data quality issues in line with Lloyd's standards
- Liaise directly with underwriters, Brokers and coverholders / DCAs where necessary ensuring robust communication is maintained with all stakeholders
- Management of Validations and data standards in line with Canopius Data Standards.
- Working alongside the Data Quality Team to remediate any issues with Data.
- Produce, monitor and complete the Bordereaux processing monitoring and oversight of MI reports
- Analyse/interpret and challenge the weekly and monthly Bordereaux processing statistics provided by the outsource team
- Challenge and develop existing MI and report to internal stakeholders, coverholders, Brokers and DCAs to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new data quality shortfalls or issues
- Be responsible for maintaining new & existing Intrali Bordereaux validations and mapping processes
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Enhance our existing Bordereaux data quality procedures and processes and implement additional controls / exception reporting to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Skills And Experience
- Experience supporting Bordereaux data quality and resolving issues with outsourced providers
- Strong understanding of Lloyd’s standards, data validations, and Bordereaux mapping
- Ability to analyse, challenge, and report on MI, including weekly and monthly processing statistics
- Confident stakeholder management across underwriters, brokers, coverholders and DCAs
- Experience working with data quality teams to remediate issues and improve controls
- Proven process improvement mindset, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and reporting
- Effective third-party and SLA management
- Experience with Intrali is highly beneficial; experience with any Bordereaux / BDX management tool is advantageous.
