- Participates with Account Executives in the renewal and new business activities that support marketing and underwriting decisions that are consistent with business unit growth and retention goals.Lines of business include Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Errors and Omissions, Crime/Fidelity, Cyber, Kidnap and Ransom.
- Partners with Account Executives to establish support needs for new and renewal policies (i.e., identify/gather relevant account information to quote and/or bind the policy; create reports, etc.).
- Executes different transaction types within the system, including processing of new business submissions, renewals, policy changes, and cancellations, ensuring speed and accuracy of data inputs.
- Accountable for accurate underwriting documentation/ information in account management systems and adherence todocumentation standards.
- Assign activity tasks within PC and responsible for monitoring queues and inboxes.
- Achieves or surpasses service expectations of the customer (may be internal or external) as determined by the Business Unit. Ensures accurate and timely servicing of accounts.
- Communicates with brokers/agencies, insureds/customers and internal departments. (i.e., researches and resolves issues, responds to inquiries and questions).
- Quotes accounts within system authority limits and in adherence to system underwriting guidance.
- Provides administrative support and other related services as needed (e.g., input account information into system).
- Participates in projects/assignments as needed.
- Actively engage and seek out training opportunities within market segment to further develop industry expertise
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma preferred. Business, Finance, Commerce programs an asset.
- Analytical skills.
- Experience with Guidewire Policy Center system an asset.
What is a Must Have?
- High School diploma required.
- Relevant work experience in insurance industry, including internships or co-op placements.
- Basic software skills required (Windows MS Office).
Salary Range: $59,300-$109,200
