The Investment team manages approximately
$10 billion in assets across a diverse set of mandates. The
Investment Analyst role will play a critical part in supporting portfolio managers through robust performance measurement, analytics, and model development.
In this role, you will focus on delivering timely and accurate
performance reporting, including daily analytics on portfolio returns, positioning, and risk exposures. You will contribute to
performance attribution calculation relative to benchmarks, conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis, and ensure ongoing monitoring.
The role also involves building and enhancing analytical models that improve insights and support more effective
investment decision‑making and
risk management for portfolio managers.
What To Expect
- Execute daily reporting tasks with accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Develop and enhance analytical reports to support portfolio monitoring and performance assessment.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and team members to build reporting solutions for new asset classes, derivative instruments, and emerging analytic requirements.
- Perform back ‑ office operational tasks supporting trade processing, reconciliations, and data integrity.
- Develop tools to enhance portfolio decision making
What You Bring
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Level 1 CFA with a demonstrated interest in investing.
- 2-5 Years experience at a financial institution.
- Strong programming skills, with Python preferred.
- Interest in investing
- Proficiency with financial information systems and data platforms, such as Bloomberg.
- Familiarity with equity, fixed ‑ income markets, and derivative instruments.
- Familiarity with accounting treatments for equity, bond, and derivative portfolios.
- Demonstrates independent thinking, analytical rigor, and the ability to create solutions from first principles.
- Strong aptitude to work collaboratively within a team, displaying leadership and maintaining strong working relationships with peers.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.
- Willingness to work outside standard office hours on a rotational basis to ensure continuity of reporting functions.
Salary Range: $69,500 - $119,500
