Primary Objectives:
The Business Intelligence Analyst independently designs, develops, and delivers advanced analytics and data visualization solutions that support underwriting, claims, pricing, actuarial, and policy operations. The role applies strong BI, analytics, and data engineering capabilities to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive informed business decisions and measurable performance improvements.
Design, develop, and deploy advanced dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI, emphasizing data storytelling and actionable insights.
Perform advanced analytics including segmentation, cohort, root-cause, impact, and statistical significance analysis.
Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, MS Fabric and mixed data environments.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
Strong awareness of insurance portfolio performance, underwriting rules, rating factors, and decision engines preferred
Intermediate to advanced experience designing, developing, and deploying Power BI dashboards, including DAX and Power Query

Our base salary range for this role is between $81,720 and $95,340 per year, plus an opportunity for an annual company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to internal equity.
