Risk Services MI AnalystBrand new role to provide support and deliver MI within the Operational Risk & Resilience Department. Work closely with multiple teams to help align data driven decisions. Hybrid working with 80% working from home and 20% based at our Head Office in Stratford upon Avon. About the roleThis brand-new role provides essential support to the Risk Services Team, contributing to the delivery and ongoing development of both regular and ad hoc management information. You’ll play a key role in coordinating activities that support the implementation of Risk Services policies and frameworks, ensuring they are effectively embedded across the organisation and aligned with regulatory expectations. A main part of the role involves developing, collating, analysing, monitoring and reporting management information for stakeholders across Operational Risk and Resilience, as well as the wider Risk Division. This includes designing and maintaining dashboards that present clear, timely and meaningful insight. This insight will support informed decision-making, strengthen governance, and help the business meet its regulatory obligations. Alongside MI delivery, you’ll also deliver and maintain high-quality reports, guidance and governance documentation. You’ll ensure that risk knowledge, capability and supporting infrastructure remain fit for purpose, while also building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support the wider business on approaches to third party risk management, business continuity & resilience, and IT resilience. This includes using MI to identify areas of concern and provide clear, practical recommendations in line with Group policies, regulatory requirements and market best practice. About youYou’ll have experience working with data and management information, including building, analysing and interpreting data sets and reports to support decision making. You’ll be confident using the Microsoft Office suite, with strong Excel capability and experience of VBA and macro development, alongside Microsoft Lists and Power BI. You’ll bring proven problem-solving skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to identify and implement process improvements. You’ll also be experienced in planning and managing a varied workload, balancing competing priorities and delivering to tight timescales. In addition, the following experience would be desirable. Experience in operational risk would be advantageous, particularly where this includes understanding business area risk profiles and recommending effective solutions.
