Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, committed Financial Institutions (E&O) Production Underwriter. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving new business and/or renewals with strong working relationships with wholesale agents and brokers. Ideal candidate brings existing wholesale relationships to the table.
Hybrid role (2 days in-office) based in Windsor, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, underwrite, and negotiate coverage for new and renewal business accounts nationally. In addition to underwriting skills, ideal candidates will have success in initiating, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with an agent / broker client base. Candidate is expected to build and develop a book of business.
Ideal candidates should have the ability to profitably underwrite a suite of professional liability products. This includes underwriting financial institutions lines with experience underwriting one or more of the following products: Financial Institutions, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices, Fiduciary & Bond.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of demonstrated financial institutions or related professional liability underwriting experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Pursuant to Connecticut regulation, the compensation range for this position is as stated and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
Connecticut Pay Range: $80,000 USD - $120,000 USD
