The Content & Communication Support II role provides hands-on, non-exempt support to the Content and Communications function by assisting with the preparation, coordination, and distribution of routine communication materials. This role focuses on executional work, accuracy, and timely delivery of content across internal and external channels, following established processes and standards.
The position works under general supervision and independently completes assigned tasks that support communication initiatives, content updates, and day-to-day operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with the preparation, formatting, editing, and distribution of communication materials such as emails, newsletters, presentations, intranet updates, and other standard content.
- Proofread assigned content for grammar, clarity, formatting, and adherence to brand and communication guidelines.
- Coordinate routine content updates by gathering information from designated stakeholders and applying approved changes.
- Support communication schedules and calendars by tracking assignments, deadlines, and completion status.
- Maintain organized files, templates, mailing lists, and content repositories to support consistent communication delivery.
- Execute established communication processes, including posting content, routing materials for review, and scheduling distribution.
- Respond to routine content and communication support requests, escalating issues when guidance or approval is required.
- Assist with basic reporting and tracking (e.g., distribution lists, posting confirmations, engagement summaries) using established tools.
- Follow documented procedures and instructions to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Perform other related support duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in a communications, content support, marketing, or administrative support role.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Experience performing routine content coordination or communication support tasks in a professional environment.
- Strong attention to detail with solid proofreading and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow established processes, guidelines, and instructions.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to balance multiple assigned tasks and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of common office and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, collaboration platforms, content management or intranet tools).
- Organized, dependable, and responsive to supervisor direction and feedback.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and internal partners.
The annual base salary for this position is $60,000.00 - $72,000.00.
