What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and monthly analyses.
- Preparing, or assisting other team members in preparing, financial reports to meet the timeliness and quality requirements of both internal and external customers.
- Leverage AI‑enabled tools and emerging technologies (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini) to enhance reporting quality, efficiency, and insight.
- Creating meaningful ad hoc reports and analysis utilizing the appropriate source data.
- Appropriately prioritizing work to respond to the needs of customers.
- Communicating any potential risks or opportunities to finance customers or the Financial Reporting team.
- Evaluate current systems/processes, data sources/flows/limitations, and user requirements.
What You Bring
- Must be a full-time student in a co-op program related to business, finance, or related program.
- Working towards a CPA accounting designation would be preferred, but not required – particularly if candidate has strong combined finance & technology background.
- Some financial services industry experience would be beneficial but is not required.
- High level of proficiency with Excel.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM / Hyperion applications considered an asset.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in applying AI‑enabled tools within a financial reporting and analysis environment.
- Knowledge of VBA would be an asset.
- Develop specific recommendations for improved use of technology solutions.

About Us
This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.
The hourly compensation for the role starts at $22.50 per hour and will increase based on factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, and the recommended rates as set by the respective educational institution.
