The role:
Come and play a pivotal role in the evolution of our marketing and communications function at HDI in the UK & Ireland. The role will see you lead in several exciting areas including campaign strategy and deployment, thought leadership development, social media and eMarketing activity, and internal communications support. In this varied role, you will be responsible for managing some of HDI’s key marketing channels, working with senior stakeholders across the business to develop their relationships with brokers and clients through compelling and engaging content and campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for someone building a career in marketing and communications to develop their skills across a variety of marketing disciplines and genuinely influence the direction of travel.
Key accountabilities:
- Channel marketing – Develop go-to-market plans working with the business, and execute marketing activities against commercial goals, crafting compelling and engaging stories and thought leadership using a range of channels and mediums including email, web, social media and video to showcase our products, expertise and people
- Campaign planning & execution – Take full ownership of the management of our brand and lead generation campaigns, developed and delivered with our commercial and marketing objectives in mind
- Tracking and reporting – Measure and report the effectiveness of your marketing activities to create an ongoing feedback loop with the business, our customers and our marketing team
- Agency management - Deliver comprehensive briefs in all marketing activity and manage partner agencies to deliver campaigns and communication.
- Stakeholder management - Work with internal and external stakeholders in order to follow marketing compliance and governance processes, ensuring our content suite is always accurate and up to date
- Employer branding - Support our People & Culture team with employer branding projects
- Internal communications - Support with internal communications activity where needed to ensure employees are aware of key initiatives and business objectives
- Collateral management - Build a strong suite of innovative marketing materials to support business objectives, lines of business, and supporting functions including claims and risk engineering
- Brand management - Ensure the HDI brand is positioned with clarity across all assets and in line with brand guidelines
People
- Lead by example through seeking out and leveraging diversity in all its forms and to create an inclusive work environment where innovation and fresh perspectives are embedded for the benefit of our people, our business and for the customers and communities that we support.
- Undertake health and safety due diligence as per H&S legislation to ensure safe working conditions for teams through resourcing, active documentation of incidents and proactive identification and mitigation of risks and hazards.
Risk & Compliance
- Fulfil individual risk and compliance related obligations, and provide support to and monitoring of the Branch’s adherence to Group and Regulator guidelines.
- Provide proactive risk and compliance awareness by reporting any incidents or breaches identified within our compliance requirements
Skills & experience:
- Prior experience in B2B marketing preferred, either in insurance or similar industries
- Understanding of various social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn)
- Understanding of email marketing platforms and campaign management
- Experienced in working across a variety of projects at a single time
- Confident, self-motivated and professional
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of working well under pressure
- High attention to detail and extremely organised
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office programmes
- Proficient in MS Dynamics (a plus)
- Creative thinker and problem solver
