About the team and the job:
The role is for a Compliance Officer for Acrisure Re reporting to the Global Head of Risk & Compliance. Experience of the re(insurance) broking sector including Lloyd's of London is preferred. Legal experience is an advantage. The role is to work closely with the Risk & Compliance Team, acting as Compliance support to the global Broking Teams and Corporate Functions, and operating as a business advisor and enabler.
How you'll contribute:
- Working with and advising Broking Teams, Operations, Finance and other key stakeholders upon Risk & Compliance policies and procedures.
- Assisting with drafting of Transfer of Business Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements and other related contractual or insurance documents.
- Assisting with licensing requirement queries to ensure business is permitted to transact and/or be placed in specific markets/jurisdictions in accordance with applicable regulatory regimes.
- Responsibility for updating internal Compliance records, databases and systems.
- Responsible for financial crime tasks.
- Responsibility for horizon scanning.
- Responding to intermediary questionnaires from third parties regarding their onboarding requirements.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory developments and communications.
- Helping to design and implement Risk & Compliance frameworks within the Acrisure Re Group.
Requirements:
- Professional approach with a strong desire to learn
- Compliance experience gained within insurance
- Strong organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting business and organisation.
- Strong analytical, research and reporting skills
